VoCore: Alpha Test

Next monday I will go to ShenZhen factory to make about 300pieces VoCore. Its PCB is ready. I will upload some photos of the PCB once my friend WuTong at ShenZhen get it. 🙂

This alpha version did not export SPI yet. Beta version will be almost same as final release version, still need about six weeks.

Well, I think it makes sense, to add a closed forum in wordpress for the alpha tester. So we can share our experiences and help each other. And if one finds a bug, others can confirm or disprove it.

  Ye, I am thinking about that. Looking for some WordPress Plugins 🙂 Later after release will make an open forum on stackoverflow or some other big website, so I do not have to maintain that.

Can you post your openwrt patches (target/linux/ramips/vocore) and any other patches? I would like to start building programs before the alpha board arrives.

Can you post the pin identifiers for the Alpha version.

If possible would you give the pin locations ( x,y). I can produce a very quick carrier for my Alpha board + ETH+USB+headers.

About the lack of SPI on alpha boards, I assume you mean “implemented in hardware, not available yet in software”
