Currently we can directly use python3.6 on VoCore2.
Install python3 is easy, need to download some ipk packages.
I have uploaded them to http://vonger.cn/misc/vocore2/ipk/
Download the ipk files to VoCore2 /tmp folder, call opkg install *.ipk to install.
note: or download from http://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/18.06.5/packages/mipsel_24kc/packages/, it should be latest version.
Then in VoCore2 directly call python3 to run it.
Is possible convert this device to offgrid machine?
for example router withoup power (node for https://disaster.radio/ or for my own home mesh network)
or for edc (every day carry) computer like Psion5 or https://hackaday.io/project/27499-ello-3l-computer) for writers (no everybody need many programs https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/astrohaus/hemingwrite-a-distraction-free-digital-typewriter ) programmer, or ssh+tmux+administrators 😉
power by sun is no problem, its average power is 0.7w.
2,3 is no problem 🙂 just no idea about that
